OOMPH! To Release APOCALYPTICA Collaboration As Next Single

German electro-metallers OOMPH! — who recently finished a tour of their home country in addition to having performed at several festivals — will release the third single, "Die Schlinge" (The Noose),from their latest album, "GlaubeLiebeTod" (Belief, Love, Death).

The single, due out on July 28, is a collaboration with Finnish cello-rockers APOCALYPTICA, and is based on the harmonica-melody of Ennio Morricone's film music to "Once Upon a Time in the West". The signature harmonica line is not sampled, but was re-recorded anew with permission by the composer and was then combined with OOMPH!'s own songwriting contributions.
